RE: State Warden’s State Mid-Year Meeting Report
Worthy State Deputy, Worthy State Officers, Worthy District Deputies, and Brothers All,
It has been a great pleasure to serve as your State Warden. Visiting Councils and Districts across the Arizona jurisdiction has been a privilege and a special treat for me as well as for my wife Danuta. We always feel welcome by all. During these visits I have met many good Brother Knights and their families, giving me the opportunity to realize the true meaning of fraternity.
Along with other State Officers, I participated in the Supreme Convention in San Antonio, Texas this year in August. What a thrill it was to see there so many of my Brother Knights. What a great week for the Knights of Columbus from around the world! I felt honored to serve as delegate representing Brother Knights from Arizona. This was indeed a privilege and honor to represent all my Brothers Knight from Arizona. Thank you for allowing me to serve you in this capacity.
Attending First, Second and Third Degree Exemplifications across the State is another privilege I received serving as State Warden. It is very exciting to be there when new members join our Order, as well as to see them continue their journey to Knighthood at the Second and Third Degrees. Here in Arizona we have excellent ceremonial teams with whom I always enjoy visiting.
The experiences as Warden have been many. Undeniably, plenty of hard work goes into the planning and execution of such State activities as the State Convention, Arizona Rosary Celebration and the Mid-Year Meeting. My many Council visits to present awards and to attend Officers Installation ceremonies were inspiration to both Danuta and I and a great joy to be part of the Knights of Columbus family.
In addition to being State Warden I have had the added pleasure to serve as District Deputy #20 for the Flagstaff, Williams and Page areas. It has been a pleasure to see these Brother Knights perform their good work and serve their communities, while having a great time doing it as well.
I look forward to the next six months with excitement and optimism for our Order and for our State. Again, thank you for the privilege to serve you as your Warden.
District Deputy #20
